E7POTA – Friendship that knows no borders!
It is a special honor and pleasure that our Bosnia and Herzegovina was visited by respected radio amateur David – KK4OMJ from the United States of America as part of his European radio amateur tour.
Although his schedule was extremely busy, David set aside even two days to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina and get to know our wonderful POTA reference points, seeing firsthand the natural beauty, hospitality and radio amateur spirit of our country.
The host of this unforgettable visit was Nikola E77AX, POTA manager for Bosnia and Herzegovina and one of the project bearers of the special call sign E7POTA. During the tour of our parks and joint activations, the development of the POTA program was discussed, many experiences were exchanged, but above all, a sincere friendship was created that connects radio amateurs regardless of distance.
As a sign of gratitude for his selfless support and contribution to the promotion of our project, we presented David with a thank you note from the E7POTA team. It was a small sign of attention with which we wanted to show how much his support means to us and the fact that he included Bosnia and Herzegovina among the destinations he wanted to visit during his trip through Europe.
After hanging out with Nikola E77AX, David continued his journey towards Mostar and Sarajevo, where he is scheduled to meet with our QSL manager Boris Knezović – E73Y. We are sure that this meeting will additionally strengthen friendly ties between radio amateurs from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the world.
Such visits are invaluable. They are not only a promotion of the Parks on the Air program, but also the best ambassador of our country, our natural beauty and the community that radio amateurs have nurtured for generations.

Radio waves know no borders, and friendships made thanks to radio amateurism last a lifetime. David (KK4OMJ)’s visit once again showed that Bosnia and Herzegovina is much more than a beautiful destination – it is home to sincere hosts and big-hearted radio amateurs.
Dear David (KK4OMJ), thank you for your trust, support and friendship. We wish you a safe journey and many successful activations across Europe. The doors of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the E7POTA team will always be open to you.
73 and see you again in E7!
